What I like about these pieces is the contrast.

When Aquamarine is completely polished, it is easy to focus only on colour and clarity. Leaving part of the original surface intact lets you see more of the stone's journey — what it looked like in its rough state and what was hidden inside.

That makes these pieces particularly satisfying for me as specimens: not completely raw, not completely refined, but somewhere between the two.

Aquamarine and Emerald belong to the same mineral family — beryl. Trace elements within the crystal structure are responsible for their very different colours.

Handle with care and avoid dropping or knocking the point against hard surfaces. Clean gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh household chemicals, ultrasonic cleaners and prolonged exposure to strong heat.
