Garden Quartz is not a separate mineral species. It is a commercial name for quartz containing visible inclusions that create landscape-like patterns.

These inclusions may include chlorite, iron oxides, clay minerals, and other mineral materials, depending on the specimen.

The inclusions can become enclosed as quartz grows, preserving fascinating internal patterns that appear three-dimensional when viewed through the polished crystal.

The names *Lodolite*, *Garden Quartz*, and *Scenic Quartz* are commonly used in the crystal trade to describe this appearance.

Garden Quartz has a Mohs hardness of approximately 7, but polished points can still chip if dropped or knocked.

Clean gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, and sudden temperature changes.
